Born in Guangdong, China in 1958, Yang Din moved to Paris in 1980 and graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in 1987. Upon his graduation, Yang won the Grand Prize of salon sociale Artistique de l’Aube, Troyes. In 1988 Yang was invited to show his work at the “Salon de la Jeune Peinture” and “Salon de Mai” at the Grand Palais. Since then, he has regularly held solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Europe. As one of those outstanding Chinese artists active in the European art scene, Yang’s paintings have been acquired by many major museums and private collectors, such as Fondation Colas, Paris, Fondation Oriente, Lisbon and Musée de Macao, Macau.
