We are proud to present this catalogue Worlds Beyond Reality — Monet's Legacy II, published on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition at Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery Singapore, from 21 January to 28 March 2026.
Framed within Claude Monet’s beloved garden at Giverny, this exhibition delves into the interplay between place and artistic inspiration, nature and culture, through the enduring legacy of the Impressionist. Taking viewers on a stroll through Monet’s garden in Giverny and the personal Edens of eight artists across generations and geographies, namely Zao Wou-Ki, Lalan, Chu Teh-Chun, Li Huayi, Xue Song, Teo Eng Seng, Ziad Dalloul and Shara Hughes, this exhibition reveals Monet’s influence on the expanded field of painting by examining these artists’ personal approaches to light, colours, compositions and materials.
Complemented by an overview from curator Mr. Edward Fung, a total of 10 works from 9 artists are each featured with a concise note of analysis prepared by our curatorial and research team from substantial information collection and studies.
