Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery is pleased to present works by Bai Ming, Li Huayi, Pan Gongkai, Wei Jia, Munemi Yorigami and Daniela Schlagenhauf at Fine Art Asia 2025.
Ink painting, porcelain, and lacquer are the three pillars of traditional Chinese art, each rooted in centuries of cultural heritage. Ink, expressed through brush and line, captures vital resonance and the artist's cultivated inner world. Porcelain, born from the alchemy of fire and clay, achieves luminous clarity and diverse glazes. Lacquer, with its meticulous layering, tempers strength with softness, embodying timelessness within the flow of time.
This exhibition highlights how artists from China, Japan, and France reinterpret tradition through contemporary practices. Ming and Qing dynasty furniture are employed as the backdrop for presentation of the exhibits, illustrating the subtle grace that may be served by art for our daily life.
