The Inheritance of Chinese Ink Painting and its Future - Seen through Li Huayi's Art : JC Cube Tai Kwun

5 Dec 2021

In light of Li Huayi's solo exhibition Infinites Between Ink and Gold – Recent Works of Li Huayi, Kwai Fung Hin organized a premiere screening of Li's documentary and panel discussion on 5 December at the JC Cube in Tai Kwun.

We had the pleasure inviting former Chief Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Mr. Szeto Yuen-kit; Mr. Kim Yu, Head of Chinese Painting, Senior Vice President, International Specialist at Christie's; and Mr. Edward Fung, Curator of Li's current exhibition for their presence at the event. Moderated by Founder and Director of Kwai Fung Hin, Ms. Catherine Kwai, they exchanged thoughts in Li Huayi's artistic style, exploring the contemporary values and development of traditional ink painting.
