Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery proudly present "UNLIMITED, UNLIMITED -- An Exhibition of 14 Korean Artists"
The opening of the exhibition at Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery, No. 20, Ice House Street, Ground Floor, Central, Hong Kong will take place on 8 December, 2011.
In the past few years, the Gallery has put in substantial resources in the study and research on the development of Korean contemporary art. It is noted that while Korean contemporary artists are obviously influenced by the major Western art concepts, they are able to preserve a strong attachment to traditional Oriental philosophy.
At the same time, they are extremely keen to develop the application of unorthodox media and materials, and their works are invariably executed meticulously with astonishing handicrafts.
From hundreds of artists, the Gallery selects and presents in this exhibition over 50 pieces of representative works of 14 artists, they are: CHA Jong Rye, CHEONG Kwang Ho, JUNG Kwang Sik, KIM Kun Ju, KIM Kyung Min, KIM Yeon, KO Won Kyung, KO Won Kyung, LEE Ji Hyun, LEE Yun Bok, NOH Dong Sik, PARK Seung Mo, PARK Sung Tae, YOO Bong Sang.
The audience will experience artworks made of wire, nail, cotton and even old books, the possibilities in choice of material for art creation is simply UNLIMITED.
The audience will also experience the most fascinating handicrafts, wooden relief looks like a piece of silky cloth, landscapes with delicate details carved from a whole piece of granite... artistic perfection is simply UNLIMITED. The exhibition will continue until 3 January, 2012.
